I just heard that piece of shit from CN, Dodd(SellOut-D)

in response to 'surging' in iraq with more troops

(that is called escalation into a civil war, with one side being a corrupt puppet government being supported by a different more powerful culture, therefore the puppet has really little legitimacy within the country cuz ... well, it is corrupt and its protector ... nevermind. )

I just heard Mr. Muchy Corn Flakes state that ... surging / supporting hte asshole-in-chief ... 'would be a mistake'.

NO WONDER WE LOSE!

hello world!

how many people did NOT vote in the great 7 Nov. landslide of 2006?

how many people voted AGAINST the aristo-fascists?

how many voted AGAINST the Dems?

how many really voted FOR either party?

in the current winds of history,

we are the dominant leaf pile.

"would be a mistake" sounds like a pile of leafs,

shivering and quaking,

afeard of the next wind coming to blow them away.

we are pathetic.

Jim Hightower has a CD called "The People are Revolting"...  stray thought.

I just heard that Sadaam'll be hanged.  That seems to me an inauspicious beginning for a new regime -- violent death as retribution for violent deaths.  We have more tools for justice than violence and punishment.  The guillotine in this image is symbolic.  What would be a new symbol for  transformative change?

Hanging Sadaam and impeaching or punishing Bush & Co. won't stop new bad leaders from coming in. As you point out, structural change like fair elections has to happen.  And culture change -- less reliance on violence, ratcheting down the consumerism -- and in its place, what?  That's what I'm interested in thinking about -- what is it we want.  I like how Roz Jenkins puts it in Washblog story: What would it mean to get what we're asking for?
